The mission of Hudson Independent School District Dyslexia Department is to:

Provide all eligible students with dyslexia or related disorders with the multi-sensory and phonological awareness skills necessary to be successful in the areas of reading, writing, and spelling in order to nurture a strong self esteem and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents. 

To achieve this mission, Hudson ISD will:

1. provide standard protocol dyslexia instruction which includes the critical, evidenced based components of Dyslexia Intervention

2. use progress monitoring data to guide informed decision making regarding student progress within the program

3. establish a collaborative school/parent partnership to ensure student success
